Insulite Laboratories is dedicated to development of systems that restore health, by addressing lifestyle factors that return metabolism to a healthier state.  At its inception, Insulite Laboratories was focused on disorders of insulin metabolism.  These included obesity, pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).  In creating these systems, we developed a great deal of insight into what drives a successful self-management program.  The expertise of our scientific team, coupled with our success in these conditions has inspired us to develop self-management systems for an expanding set of health conditions.  In doing this, we have drawn on specialists in the fields of internal medicine, cardiology, neuroscience, endocrinology, exercise physiology, nutrition, dietetics, psychology, and many others.

Our goal is to help raise the quality of life in people struggling with an array of health conditions through detailed self-management systems.  We do this by educating individuals on their condition, providing a structured 52-week plan that guides them toward their healthy recovery, providing selected nutrient complexes that support this recovery, and giving live support through our coaches.

Background

Insulite Laboratories was established in 2001 in Boulder, Colorado USA, to research, develop and test a scientifically based, multi-layered approach to addressing chronic health problems. Our programs are centered on systems that include:

• Nutrients and functional foods that support metabolic needs
• A food and diet plan oriented toward restoring metabolic balance
• An exercise program designed to restore metabolic fitness in all states of health or illness
• A component that deals with the psychology of how we eat, why we make the choices we do, and how we handle stress
• An active support network, which includes weekly coaching specific to the disorder that may affect you

Recognizing that there are millions of people who need this kind of systematic approach to raising their own state of health, Insulite Laboratories has, over the past five years, developed separate systems for excess weight/obesity, PCOS, Pre-Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome, Type 2 diabetes, and osteoarthritis.  Programs supporting brain health and memory preservation are currently in development.
